THE WALNUT KITCHEN REMODEL | CHAMPLIN, MN

At Xtra Mile Construction, we believe that every kitchen has the potential to be a masterpiece. Our recent kitchen remodel project, located right on the banks of the Mississippi River in Champlin, MN, perfectly embodies this.

With deep green hues, rich walnut accents, and a stunning quartz countertop that carries up to the backsplash, this kitchen makeover not only captivates with its beauty but also offers functional and earthy vibes that blend seamlessly with modern living. Join us as we delve into the details of this transformation that brought the beauty of the outdoors right into our client's home.

Walnut's Natural Elegance:

The choice of walnut for the cabinetry adds a touch of natural elegance to the space. The deep, rich tones of walnut wood not only complement the green color but also bring warmth and texture to the kitchen. It's a perfect example of how natural materials can transform a space into something truly special.

The star of this kitchen remodel is undoubtedly the deep green color palette. A versatile and timeless choice, deep green brings a sense of tranquility and connection to nature. Paired with walnut wood accents, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for both cooking and entertaining.

Gorgeous Quartz Countertop:

One of the standout features of this kitchen remodel is the stunning quartz countertop. The quartz is not only durable but also exquisitely beautiful. Its intricate patterns and natural colors mimic the earth's beauty, making it a seamless addition to our earthy vibes concept. What's even more impressive is how the quartz carries up to the backsplash, creating a cohesive and visually striking element in the kitchen.

Spice Drawer:

To enhance functionality and convenience, our team incorporated a dedicated spice drawer. This feature allows our clients to easily access and organize their favorite spices, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable cooking experience. It's the little details like these that make a kitchen truly exceptional.

High-Quality Appliances:

No modern kitchen is complete without high-quality appliances, and this kitchen is no exception. Our team installed top-of-the-line appliances that not only make cooking a breeze but also add a touch of sophistication to the space. From the sleek refrigerator to the efficient range and oven, every appliance was chosen with both style and functionality in mind.

These luxurious appliances are from Warner’s Stellian. This microwave is next-level! We will share all about it in an Instagram post! (hint hint: It has a touchless feature). As you can see, each appliance was carefully chosen to maintain the sleek and modern feel.

Not only are the appliances modern and sleek, so are the light fixtures and plumbing finishes. Our design team also did a great job of ensuring the luxury feel was carried throughout. Oftentimes we work with Build.com to select our fixtures. There are so many great options to pick from on this website, be sure to check it out!

In this project, we aimed to create a kitchen that seamlessly integrates our client’s home with nature. The deep green color, walnut wood, and the gorgeous quartz countertop all come together to form a space that exudes earthy vibes. It is also visually appealing, as this kitchen is very dynamic. Not only with the color scheme, but the variety of materials, as well as glass cabinet doors to bring some delicacy to the cabinetry. It's a kitchen where you can prepare meals while feeling connected to the outdoors, with the Mississippi River just steps away.
