CABINET STORAGE HACKS
Being in the remodeling industry, sometimes we have to get creative in order to give our clients the biggest “bang for their buck”. There are some pretty incredible cabinet storage hacks out there and I’m going to give you a sneak peek at some of my favorites!
Lazy Susans & Corner Storage
We have several solutions for utilizing a dead corner. There is nothing worse than wasted cabinet space or areas you cannot access. But not worry, there are so many different ways to make those corners useful again. There are drawers that fit into a corner, a great option for utensils or cooking tools that are not often used. I love how many different options there are for the “Lazy Susan”. There is the traditional circular option, that I can turn to access my baking goods or small appliances. I also think the “pull-out” organizers are great, because I get to bring my items out of the cabinet for easy accessibility. Then they fold back into the cabinet, utilizing all the corner space. These are just a few of the amazing options out there, for extra corner storage.
Alternate Storage
What about upper cabinet storage and organization? Sometimes there are deep cabinets out of our reach, or that are not as accessible because of their height. There are “pull down” mechanisms that allow us to pull the shelf down to an accessible height, then push it back up into the cabinet when it's no longer needed. I also adore the idea that we can have dual purposes within one cabinet. For example, we can have spice racks added to the backs of the doors, and still utilize the adjustable shelves or rollouts within that cabinet. Do you have a tall, skinny space that doesn’t seem useful? Install a tall pull-out organizer that allows a ton of storage options for spices, baked goods, cooking oils, and more!
